1. How much sleep do you need per night?

On average, adults need about 8 hours of sleep per night. Only 1 percent of the population needs less than six hours of sleep.

5. Is having night shifts or irregular days bad for your sleep quality?

When you have night shifts, this remains something unnatural for your body. This leads to a poorer night's sleep. If you are an extreme evening person, you might do a bit better to cope with than someone else, but it remains unhealthy.
